Accommodation
Churchfields is a large 32 bedded Victorian building which has been adapted to the highest standards to accommodate service users comfortably.
You will have full, unrestricted use of all communal rooms i.e. lounges and bathrooms etc. The homes structural layout allows for individual privacy and personal space, when required.
Every room is furnished with a vanity unit and sink along with a wardrobe, bed, chest of drawers, lockable cabinet, chairs, curtains and ample bedding. Four of the 30 rooms available at Churchfields are en-suite and two rooms are shared.
The accommodation we provide is designed to make our service users feel comfortable in their surroundings. We actively encourage residents to decorate their room with their own belongings to promote a sense of familiarity.
The home has three large lounges. Two of these are equipped with a television and DVD for service users’ use and the third is reserved for radio or quiet time. The home also has a light and airy conservatory which is perfect for visiting with family or even for small social gatherings or residents' meetings.
The dining room has room for all our residents to eat together although should they wish, service users may also take their meals in their rooms.
There is also a large garden available for all our service users to enjoy, when the weather permits. We hold BBQs and fetes here during the summer. The home is also adjascent to an Infant School and service users take great pleasure in having the little ones wave to them during playtime!
