Emergency Admissions Policy
To ensure that all details of the Service user are in place, the assessment form must be filled briefly when the enquiry of emergency is made on the telephone or fax.
As many details as possible must be obtained within 48 hours ensure all key aspects rules and routines the Service User requires are met.
To meet all other criteria for the assessment and admission must be completed within 2-4 working days, the maximum must be 5 working days.
As service providers it is out duty to contact the service user’s family, social worker and any other bodies relating to the placement. They must be informed that the service user has been accepted for placement hers subject to their discussion which must be made within 48 hours either way.
